About Me

Chief Technology Officer with a proven track record of creating and scaling high-performing technology organisations from the ground up, and transforming complex, underperforming estates into scalable, high-impact platforms that fuel business growth. I build teams that deliver outstanding digital products while also leading IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, compliance frameworks, and data strategy. My remit has consistently spanned software engineering, IT operations, and data science — from cloud migration and AI initiatives to enterprise-grade security and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR).

I have delivered major technology transformations for the BBC, General Medical Council, RSA, ORCHA, and TLA. At the GMC, I rebuilt critical systems, infrastructure, and teams, creating an agile, scalable environment. At ORCHA, I led the creation of a global healthtech platform from scratch, enabling multi-market, multi-language expansion. At the BBC, I delivered a reinvented digital sporting experience across web, mobile, and smart TV, delivering at pace for major global sporting events.

I blend in-house capability with managed service providers, managing vendors from Microsoft, Oracle, and enterprise platform suppliers to global partners such as Accenture and IBM. I excel at removing inefficient legacy systems, designing new architecture, and embedding the engineering culture, governance, and vendor partnerships that accelerate growth and deliver lasting value.
