Professional Profile:
Senior Portfolio, Programme and Project Management (PPPM) and ITIL Service Integration and Management (SIAM)/ITSM professional with 25+ years fully involved hands-on delivery experience and execution (i.e. “the doing” – not just defining, managing and consulting on).
Initially technically minded, having come from an application product development, testing and operational support background during very early career stages.
Now morphed into a business focused, detail oriented and process driven individual, with the ability to seamlessly operate between strategic business and tactical levels – down to focusing on the minute of a technical issue or single process.
Ultimately, achieving and delivering high quality, high performing, integrated and cost-effective service outcomes.
Scope:
– Numerous global, national or regional programmes/projects across EMEA, Americas (N&S), UAE and APAC (with some in-country placements)
Process Expertise:
– Full ITIL lifecycle framework (all processes implemented) – Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition (Introduction), Service Operations, Continual Service Improvement (CSI)
– Service Integration and Management (SIAM)
– Service Transition, Migration and Transformation
– Managed services: bid construction and execution, financial (cost) modelling/budget forecasting, contract/procurement management, supplier evaluation/on-boarding
– Service performance/quality assurance (QA): audits and compliance, gap assessment/analysis with definition of tactical (“quick wins”) and strategic roadmaps and success criteria; MI reports on VFM and ROI
People:
– Team management (over 30+ direct reports), plus matrix of onsite/onshore/offshore cross-functional resources
– Held accountable lead roles, acting as primary business/IT management interface for communication, co-ordination and control duties involving mixed profile stakeholders & suppliers
Market sector coverage:
Banking/Finance, Insurance, Telecoms, Energy (Oil & Gas), Media/Advertising, Pharma, FMCG/Retail/Luxury, Transport & Logistics and Public Sector (UK Gov).
Qualifications and training:
BSc (Hons) in Computing for Real-Time Systems (2:1) – Bristol
ITIL (expert/master experience level) and CMMI certified with hands-on experience and application of ISO:20000, BS7799 (ISO/IEC 27002), TOGAF, COBIT, NIST, Lean, Six Sigma, Waterfall, Agile / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), SCRUM, Kanban, Total Quality Methods (TQM), SOA, PRINCE2.

ServiceNow, BMC Helix, HP Service Manager, Freshservice, Confluence and Jira
