We’re looking for a Bid Manager to join a growing organisation at the forefront of public transport technology. This onsite role (based in Nottingham with some flexible home working) offers the chance to lead complex, high-value tenders from start to finish.
You’ll be the driving force behind the bid lifecycle – from qualification and stakeholder engagement to proposal creation and submission. Your work will directly impact the transformation of sustainable transport in the UK, while collaborating with a wider international team across the UK, Germany, and Ireland.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing end-to-end bids for major public sector transport projects
- Creating structured, compelling, and compliant proposals
- Working closely with commercial and technical teams across borders
- Building pricing models and analysing risk
- Shaping win strategies and improving bid processes
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience managing public sector bids (transport, engineering, or tech preferred)
- Is confident running complex submissions under tight deadlines
- Brings strong commercial awareness and financial modelling skills
- Communicates clearly, confidently, and professionally with senior stakeholders
- Is highly organised, self-motivated, and ready to grow into a leadership role
