During my IT tenure of about 28 years, I had held a variety of the architectural roles progressively such as applications architect, product architect, and solutions architect for about 15 years. I have worked as a cloud solutions architect for more than 8 years.
As a Principal Architect in the Education Technology space, I have worked with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), US, for providing the architectural leadership to multiple engineering teams. I have worked across several product lines and products for deploying business- critical services, improving architectural qualities, and supporting the architecture continuum.
Working as a Principal Architect, I had set up the architecture practice, mentored and enabled the senior architects and delegated the product responsibilities while maintaining the architectural governance. I have participated as a key contributor in handling and resolving the Major Incidents, i.e., production outages, and service restorations.
As a cloud solutions architect, I have worked with large telecom providers such as Telefonica and Orange in Spain, financial institutions, for example, CNA Financial in United States and Students Loan Company in United Kingdom, and global automotive manufacturers such as BMW and Volkswagen in United States.
I have delivered multiple business- critical solutions primarily based on the AWS cloud for the cloud transformation programs defined as the strategic enterprise architecture initiatives. While many of these programs involved migrating the application portfolios to cloud, I have the experience architecting, designing, and deploying the cloud- native applications as well.
I have consulted with diverse stakeholders as a trusted advisor for establishing the architectural decisions based the industry- standard best practices, aligned the solution architectures with enterprise architecture guidelines, and employed the solution patterns for the architectural qualities such as security, performance, operational excellence, and cost economy.
I have thorough understanding of the AWS platform in general, and solid experience with many the AWS cloud services for commercial business applications. I have specialized in the orchestration services namely the elastic kubernetes service and elastic container service, and I have expertise designing and developing microservices- based solution architectures.
I am proficient working along the agile processes, in particular, the scaled agile methodology. I have provisioned the AWS infrastructure following the paradigm of infrastructure as a code, and deployed the applications following the practices of continuous integration and continuous delivery. I have a solid experience designing and working with the databases.
