Workplace Technologies Manager (Global AV Management)

• Managing all workstreams within the Workplace Technologies SRE team, aligning the global strategy to enhance efficiency and collaboration across the firm. Collaborating with stakeholders, external suppliers and senior leadership to develop integrated solutions, aligning with the technology strategy and roadmap. Enabling proactive support. ▪ Managing the onsite event support provision for the annual Global Partners conference, ensuring high‑availability of AV and collaboration services during the high-profile event. ▪ Aligned newly formed teams to firm‑wide VoC, CSAT, CI, and reporting standards. • Primary function: Leading and managing the Voice and Video, 8 person EU & CEMEA support team. Providing support for unified communications covering Voice, Data, Digital Signage, Microsoft Teams including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco video conferencing, corporate broadcast events, mobile support and RFP. Supporting 5000+ end users in 70 offices across EU & CEMEA and reporting to the Head of End User Technology. • Secondary function: managing the 8-person, End User Workstation Support team at the Visa’s European head office in Paddington, providing desktop support, tech bar, asset management, builds & hardware to multiple EU offices. • Managing £1.5 million budget for BAU with additional local office business funding of £200-300k per AV office projects for refurbishments, offices moves and upgrades. • Key Achievements: ▪ Led the rapid turnaround of a failing End User Workstation Support team during the pandemic, delivering 98% consistent SLA‑compliant ticket closures within six weeks of appointment. 28% MTTR improvement. ▪ Established VoC, CSAT, continuous improvement, service metrics frameworks and embedding data‑driven continuous improvement across the two teams. ▪ Ensured business continuity during COVID, by enabling end user remote connectivity, laptop and mobile hardware refreshes. Also upgrading tech bars to maintain safe service delivery (Mar 2020 – Jan 2022). ▪ 14x Office moves and refresh projects delivered. Including the 10 floors in the London HQ refresh with full new Auditorium, Studio and upgraded Cybersecurity floor.
