Andrew Twidle
About Me
Andrew is a Project, Programme and Portfolio Manager, having worked as Head of Function at Leadership Team Level reporting directly to C-suite level. With an MBA from Cranfield, Andrew has 20+ years working internationally for clients in the Finance, Energy and Telco sectors. He has managed budgets to USD 300 million and led globally distributed teams to 50 FTE+. Ex PwC London, Andrew has worked onsite at clients in 5 continents, living in Qatar, Brazil, France, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom for extended periods. He speaks English, French, Dutch and Spanish.
Andrew typically holds a delivery leadership role, managing planning and budgets, negotiating contracts, leading development teams, managing client resources, managing supplier relationships and delivery with the likes of Google, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP. He is adept at executive level stakeholder management across sales/front office, operations/middle office, and support/back office functions including Finance, Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Legal and HR. He typically acts as the bridge between the business and technology, having a product and business operations background, that has included ERP application implementation, bespoke application design and development, data migration from legacy systems to future state systems and TOM design. In the last eight years, he has focused on SaaS cloud migrations to Microsoft Azure and Oracle Fusion.
On the strategic evaluation side, and as a Senior Managing Consultant, Andrew has run end-to-end RFP’s on behalf of clients, partnering with BCG and Gartner Group on Cloud evaluation initiatives for end clients.
On the people side, Andrew has sourced, developed and coached new Project and PMO teams from scratch, and coached Agile teams at early stages of maturity.
Andrew is open to contract work, advisory work, and non-executive work in UK/Europe and The Middle East. He is also open to senior positions at Director level. Andrew holds joint British and Dutch nationality, enabling him to work in the UK and across the EU without requiring a work visa.
