Winpos is a leading supplier of Point of Sale systems to the hospitality industry. My role was a blend of Operational Management and improvement and hands-on project management. I oversee the Solution Design and Delivery, Helpdesk Support, Product Development, HR and Project Management functions. Achievements: • Spearheaded operational transformation, leading to increased efficiency, cost savings, and improved client satisfaction. • Led a company-wide restructure, aligning teams with business goals, improving collaboration, and fostering accountability. • Program managed successful roll out of a major Point-of-Sale system upgrade across 100+ sites and led installations on two new ferries. • Rescued struggling projects, implementing strategic solutions that ensured successful completion and client satisfaction. • Established lean project management policies, boosting team efficiency and accelerating project delivery.

My role at 67 Bricks was to lead the Operations team, ensuring the internal smooth running of the business across all functions including finance, HR, resourcing, facilities management, project delivery and customer support. Achievements • Key leader in driving company growth from 4 to 50 employees while maintaining operational excellence and service quality. • Helped lead the business through the COVID-19 crisis, ensuring uninterrupted client service and high employee morale. • Built and scaled an operations team, successfully onboarding new members and optimizing internal business functions. • Managed company-wide finance and HR transformations, streamlining processes for long-term scalability. • Set up and maintained company “Health-checks” for management and leadership teams to monitor company performance and flag any areas of concern

Project Manager

EdComs was a digital and experiential agency working in the education sector (now part of EVERFI). As a contractor, I was brought in to project manage the RBS MoneySense for Schools project, my contract was extended many times as I became involved in multiple projects and setting up project processes within EdComs. Achievements • Delivered the company’s flagship project on time and within budget, earning client praise. • Introduced Agile project management methodologies, improving project delivery speed and flexibility. • Responsible for full project lifecycle, delivering numerous successful projects to satisfied clients.

Cancer Research UK 05/05/2003 - 04/16/2010

Senior Project Manager

I joined Cancer Research UK as a project manager and graduated to senior project manager during my time there. I also stepped up to take extra responsibility acting as interim “Head of Project Management” on 2 occasions. Achievements – Whilst acting as Head of Project Management: • Shaping the direction and strategy of the “Internet and New Media” project management team and wider organisational internet strategy • Management of programme of works and sharing this with other relevant departments to ensure organisational resource available • Managed the weekly project manager team meetings providing a forum for the Project Managers to discuss issues and share key information • Reviewing and amending the departmental project processes as they continued to “evolve” Achievements – As Senior Project Manager: • Acted as interim Head of Project Management, shaping digital strategy and refining project processes. • Led high-profile digital projects, including ‘Race for Life’ and the ‘CancerHelp’ website rebuild. • Provided “Big Picture” thinking and consultancy to ensure that projects delivered were of maximum benefit to Cancer Research UK • Developed and maintained excellent working relationships with key clients, IT department and external suppliers/agencies • Ensured that the team’s projects were delivered on time and to the high quality and standards expected by Cancer Research UK • Successfully managed and mentored a team of project managers, enhancing department-wide performance. • Held in high regard by directors, senior managers, peers, clients and other internal stakeholders
