I am a senior manufacturing leader looking for a permanent Managing Director, Operations Director, or General Manager role.
Manufacturing is where I do my best work. I built my career in fenestration, but the product matters less than the discipline behind it. I am drawn to businesses that make something physical and take pride in how it is produced, assembled, and delivered.
I am usually brought in when things feel messy. Processes are unclear. Systems do not talk to each other. People work hard but outcomes vary. That is where I am most effective.
I bring structure without slowing the business down. I focus on what matters first. I fix the basics. I then build from there.
My experience includes:
• Putting core processes in place where none existed
• Replacing manual work with automation to cut errors and waste
• Selecting and implementing CRM systems that teams actually use
• Creating consistency across departments and sites
• Turning informal knowledge into clear ways of working
I sit comfortably between strategy and delivery. I work closely with owners and boards. I translate intent into action. I set clear expectations and hold people to them, calmly and directly.
I am looking for a manufacturing business of around 50 to 100 people that needs grip. A business ready for clearer processes, stronger systems, and tighter operational control. I want a long term role where I can stabilise the operation, improve performance, and build a platform for sustained growth.
