Roman Kowalewski
About Me
I’m an accomplished Senior UX UI Designer, Researcher, and Graphic Designer with extensive experience across start-ups and large corporates, delivering data-driven SaaS platform and web solutions across government, fintech, authentication tech, hospitality, fashion, design agencies, and consultancies. This includes creating new brands from the ground up and delivering complete brand and website launches earlier in my career.
Pragmatic in design and delivery, I use AI tools to accelerate research, exploration, and production. I’ve previously been granted UK security clearance and held four management roles, leading teams of up to 13 people while overseeing recruitment, mentoring, and training. My work bridges product experience, visual design, and brand expression across digital touchpoints to create cohesive, scalable user experiences.
I design and deliver digital experiences across the full spectrum of business needs, from maintaining and improving existing products to launching new features or end-to-end product design. This includes problem definition, user research, analysis, ideation, wireframes, prototypes, testing, and high-fidelity design. I’m comfortable navigating ambiguous or evolving requirements, adapting quickly, and making informed, user-centred, data-driven recommendations at any scale.
Whether redesigning complex SaaS platforms, websites, or mobile apps as a sole designer or within a team, I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver functional, engaging, and accessible products. I foster open, honest dialogue and create environments where stakeholders feel confident sharing ideas. I’m also a parent to an eight-year-old, which keeps me grounded. I’m now seeking a challenging opportunity where I can bring my experience to support your team and wider organisation.
