As an experienced Data Delivery professional, I thrive on leading teams to provide solutions that unlock insights, drive value, and foster change. My career spans multiple industries, where I have delivered data solutions and integration across the entire programme lifecycle. My diverse roles have included solutions architecture, engineering, project management (Waterfall, Agile Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban), and consultancy.
I have extensive experience working with data products, including data warehouses, data lakes, data integration, data wrangling, data ingestion, business intelligence, data visualisation, and analytics. My skill set combines strong leadership, communication, and project management with proven technical abilities. These skills enable me to bridge the gap between business needs and technology, working with stakeholders at all levels and managing teams to deliver innovative solutions and process transformations.
Most recently, I have held leadership roles in data and analytics within BP’s B2B businesses (Castrol, Fleet, and Aviation), where I managed teams of analysts, data engineers, and data scientists. I led initiatives to transform data and analytics, reducing the time to insight from weeks to minutes and delivering predictive analytics that have saved millions of dollars.
I am results-driven and believe that projects must focus on delivering business outcomes over technological solutions. I am a strong advocate of the “growth mindset” and of continuous learning and improvement – enabling a foundation of psychological safety and wellbeing is key to building high performing teams.
